| Just about every year since 1996, I've participated in the ARRL's annual Field Day event with the Montgomery Amateur Radio Club.
This event is the high event for Ham Radio every year. Thousands
of amateur radio operators gather in small and large groups to make
contact with each in various forms. Some run from emergency power
in remote locations. Some have dozens of rigs, with towers, and
are in public accessible places. Yet others do it from their home
station for just a few hours. Below is my Field Day Summary. You can also note that in years 2000, 2002 and 2003 I was the coordinator for the Montgomery Amateur Radio Club's Field Day efforts. |
